Conventional calculators with only one keyboard can only focus on one task, usually the TVM keys. There is not a lot of room left for other financial functions, statistics and math. So there are only a few of those functions and they usually require shift keys.

CALC 1 uses separate “Focused” calculators. You have a more complete, easier to use calculator for each task.

CALC 1 lets you use algebraic formulas but also has an automatic stack for RPN. So there is no need to declare one “mode” as with old calculators. Both are available all of the time.

Algebraic formulas display all of the values, operators and parentheses to make complicated formulas easier to enter and verify. Most calculators only show you the current number being entered and expect you to remember the locations of the operators and parenthesis!
